Illustrated are
two views of the same pot that was fired recently. The pot, glazed in my temmoku
and tetsu-yu, is shown with its ceramic lid and a roiro black lacquer lid. What
never ceases to amaze me is how a small change can alter the appearance and
bearing of a pot, like presenting two very different points of view.
