I have had this photo of this Arakawa chawan on my
hard drive for some time now and from time to time I go back and study the
sheer simplicity of form and surface. I am not sure there is a simpler piece
that harbors such a depth of mystery and complexity as this pot. So, what's to
say, I'll let the photo do all the talking.
